How We Measure Hiring Health

Most recruiting teams can tell you how many roles are open. Very few can tell you which ones are actually healthy. The Hiring Health Score changes that.

They show you how many candidates were sourced, how many interviews were scheduled, how many offers were sent. What they don't show you is whether the mandate is actually moving toward a successful close — or silently drifting toward failure.

The Hiring Health Score is Majhi OS's answer to that problem. It synthesizes 12 operational signals across every active mandate into a single number, updated in real time, that tells a recruiting leader exactly which searches are on track, which are degrading, and which require immediate intervention.

The 12 Signals We Track

Each signal is weighted based on its predictive correlation with mandate failure. The weights are adjusted over time as the system learns from outcomes across mandates.

How the Score Is Calculated

The 12 signals are normalized to a 0–100 scale and aggregated using a weighted model. The weighting is not static — it adapts based on mandate type, industry, role level, and historical outcomes for similar searches.

Hiring Health Score Bands

85–100Healthy — mandate is on track for on-time close
65–84Watch — one or more signals are degrading; monitor closely
45–64At Risk — recovery action recommended within 48 hours
Below 45Critical — mandate recovery sequence triggered automatically
